Tetris: Axis coming to the 3DS

Heads up puzzle game fans, Tetris Axis is coming to the 3DS this October. The most recent installment of the addicting puzzle game, that has spanned across just about every console and hand held to date, will feature a variety of new ways to play Tetris. Tetris Axis for the 3DS will feature 20 modes of play. Everything from classic marathon mode, versus, and survival, to fever mode, party modes, and even something that they're calling augmented reality mode. Along side the crazy variety of modes to play, Tetris Axis will have online gameplay so you can play against your friends or rivals no matter where you're at. It should be interesting to see how Nintendo will tie in the whole 3D aspect to what we currently know as a simple puzzle game. Find out for yourself when Tetris: Axis hits store shelves October 2nd.
